"The Necklace" (by Guy de Maupassant)

In the last two weeks, we read and analyzed a play based on a novel by the French writer Guy de Maupassant. Your work and your comments were amazing, and I really enjoyed working with you.
Since the play ended a bit abruptly, why don´t you get into pairs and think of a more attractive end? You can do it either as another scene, or as a narration (in the past). You choose.
Shall we vote for the best ending?
(By the way, do you like the necklace in the photo? Guess how much it is worth!)

  3. Hi, teacher Alejandra!
This novel is amazing, funny and fantastic!!
    Our ending is:

Jeanne returned the necklace to Matilda. She accepted it and gladly took it to every party.

  4. Our ending:

When Jeanne said that the necklace was an imitation, Matilda was surprised...sick. Jeanne realized about this and said she was gonna return at least a part of the money for their efforts.
