Mafalda

Created in 1962 by Quino, the cartoon were very popular in Latin America, Europe, Canada and Asia. Mafalda's coments are mirror of social and political problems of the world.

Argentine Football




It is the most popular sport practiced by men and boys. British immigrants who came and settled in Argentina in the mid 19th century introduced it. The first football game was on 20 June 1867 in Buenos Aires. For us, it means so much passion and love for each team 

Tango

Tango

Tango is a musical genre and dance style, typical of Buenos Aires Argentina. 

Tango was born among the lower classes in the brothels close to La Plata River.

Tango represents a sensual dance and Argentina`s culture.


Empanadas

Empanadas

"Empanadas" is a small meat pie.
 The Spaniards brought empanadas to Argentina.
 In Argentina, each province adds their ingredients and their products. There are different varieties of pies for everyone.









THE OBELISK


The obelisk is an icon of Buenos Aires city, built in 1963. It symbolises the first time the flag of our county was risen in Buenos Aires. The obelisk is 67.5 meters high.
